Just got a Ipod touch, someone explain this BANNANA JAMMA to me

    Im completely lost, i want those extra apps though but am extremely lost
    i figured i have to "jailbreak" my ipod
    why is there 2 versions? 1.1.1 and 1.1.2??
    which one should i get?
    what does this do?
    if i jailbreak it what apps do i get???
    will it make my ipod lag? glitch?

    See my guide in my signature for jailbreaking.
    There are 2 versions because the first was the release. The second one had some bug fixes, et.
    You need 1.1.1 for the jailbreak.
    You can install extra apps. The noob dictionary in the wiki will give a basic definition.
    It will only make it lag if you have like a billion applications open at once. Just close them by holding the home button for 5 seconds. Welcome to the boards and enjoy your new iPod.

    i just checked my version
    its 1.1.2
    so im just going to follow ur guide, u sure ur guide is legit?
    funny because u dont have an ipod touch lol
