Okay, so my friend is a dev and he asked me if I wanted the 3.0 GM. I said yes and upgraded to iTunes 8.2 and shift updated. I started to realize that the boot down speed was slow, and the boot up was a bit buggy. So, I decided to try to downgrade to 2.2.1. So I went into DFU mode and shift restored to my 2.2.1 FW and it worked. Now I am back to 2.2.1. Wasn't this supposed to be hard to do?

So what are you saying you're not going to use 3.0?

Not until I pay for it. But I am surprised I could downgrade so easily.

no there is nothing wrong with downgrading from any ipod touch or iphone i have also downgraded both my ipod touch and iphone going into dfu mode as for the devs saying its not possible to downgrade if your on 8.2 im not really sure what there talking about maybe just a plane shift and restore cause that dosnt work but theres always the trusty DFU restore that works
