Ive just bought some new Sennheiser HD-428s for while i'm drumming since they block out a helluva lot of noise, i must say that i love them, ive been using them solidly for about 2 hours now and have just started the very long burn in period...

    anyone else got these headphones?

I don't have them, but i've heard meh things about them. I'm interested to know what the sonic's are after >50 hours of burn in.

    how so?

    1) If you think about it logically it makes sense
    2) if you actually do it it sounds better
    3) Have you ever done it for headphones

i have a criticism now, these headphones arent very warm :/

Even after only about 10 hours of burn in with my new Grado SR80i's, the bass really tightened up, and the mids are way smoother.

wow, i take back what i said about the warmth, it seems after 30+ hours of burning in my mids have deepened as has the bass and highs, the only criticism i have now is that very bassy tracks are EXTREMELY bassy through these headphones

i love the bass when listening to pretty flat songs cuz it makes them sound really warm and awesome but then when listening to drum 'n' bass it makes it really murky
