    Right.

Lets have a look at those main 'keys':

    • <key>iPhone1,1</key> - iPhone
    • <key>iPhone1,2</key> - ?????
    • <key>iPhone2,1</key> - iPhone 3G
    • <key>iPhone3,1</key> - iPhone 3G
      [*]<key>iPod1,1</key> - iPod touch
      [*]<key>iPod2,1</key> - iPod touch 2g
      [*]<key>iPod2,2</key> - ?????
      [*]<key>iPod3,1</key> - iPod touch 3g
      [*]<key>iProd0,1</key> - ?????

iProd has been around since the 1.x days. It's nothing, really; and most likely is a code name for whatever they are currently working on. Be it an iPhone, iPod, or whatever else may run iPhoneOS. Don't take it to actually be anything.

I thought that iPhone1,1 was iPhone 2G, iPhone1,2 was 3G iPhone2,1 was 3GS and iPhone3,1 is unknown. All of the other ones are old news
