Wait - so the previous judge ruling that said Samsung did NOT infringe on Apple was 'not true'? Which one should we believe - these judges or the one that said Samsung wasn't at fault because it wasn't as cool as Apple? I'm really confused now... Did Samsung infringe or not? This makes it sound like the previous ruling was invalid and Samsung did infringe...

Samsung products still aren't cool. Next judge: no they are cool, go pay Samsung 12B. Next judge: no, Samsung, I order you to pay back Apple the 12B and post a notice on your website...

Sigh. Just end it already. Stupid companies. Stupid judges. Just make a final verdict.

Well these are judges in different countries, so they can't make a 'final verdict' in that sense.

If I were Apple, I would tell them, "F*ck You"! You don't want our product in your country.....Fine! We'll pack up and take it where they do. Apple has a lot of cash and could probably do very well without the UK income. Nothing against its citizens, but those judges are whacked. Let them take the heat for their country doing without Apple, and the huge revenue they make off their product. Stupid, short sighted Windows lackeys!

The UK ruling applies to the whole EU, you know. As much as I dislike Apple's attitude to a lot of things, I don't think even they are quite up-their-own-arse enough to deny revenue from a whole continent of developed nations just to avoid having to put a short message on their website.

Apple should do that. The judges being whack? I dont think so. Apple wants to play the i sue everybody game, its just karma coming back to bite them.

They've always said Samsung never infringed, just that Apple took the piss with their apology letter.

No it's because these courts aren't just going to let Apple do what they want and let consumers lose out because they're being dickheads. Unlike the American courts who made such a stupid and biased decision in which nobody but Apple won. They never said that they don't want Apple products in the country. In the UK the big companies are less likely to win because money doesn't sway the result the same way it does in America.
