Hi everyone, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Joe Turner and I'm a huge admirer of Apple's work, I was in the dark ages up until about the age of 15/16 where I bought my own iPhone off eBay. Since then I have saved up from my job as a developer and graphic designer to purchase both hardware and software from the fruit company. I have also started buying a lot of my music, as apposed to just downloading it, like most teenagers in today's world. I'm writing this from a MacBook Pro (Late 2011) and I love it, it's perfect for whatever I'm doing on it. I have subscribed to iTunes Match and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The people I have told about it say that they are not sure if they should get it or not, because it's 'risky'? If you would like to read a little bit more about what I do and why I do it, then you can visit and follow my blog. It's over at Turnoi.com. I look forward to working my way around these forums, as I have been looking to get back into the forum scene for quite some time now. Regards, Joe Turner.
I have developed a few things, I prefer to design however. I'm currently designing iPad and iPhone Apps, and in the past (last year) was making interactive touch-screen systems for Thomas Cook and Virgin Holidays. I have also dipped into Business card design and I sometimes touch Marijuana. Right now, I'm just saving up so I can travel around the world and come back with that one idea, or that one thing that I want to do. There are too many things that I feel can be done, so if I take a year out and then come back (preferably not back to England) I might have a better understanding on life as a whole. So, I think that's me well introduced, time for me to get to know you guys. I'm guessing there is a strong number of American's on this forum? I came back from Orlando around 2 weeks ago, that was my first experience of the US and I have to say, I loved it. There is a different mentality in the States, it's great.
I'm from the US (New Jersey). And that's an interesting life story, and I'm sure it will only become more so. I'm currently 17, and I'm really heavily into development. I'm working on a lot of things now, you can see some of my projects in my signature I've also made software for MTV and some other companies. I'm always looking for people to do design, so I'll send you a PM if I ever need you I've never been to England, so I'm curious to know, how is the mentality here different?
