Ok, so being people with jailbroken iPods, we all know that we can set our lockscreen wallpaper to also be the wallpaper behind our icons, aka the springboard. But how about having two separate wallpapers? Obviously an app would be needed.

sorry to break it to you but there is already an app for that. It's called winterboard. I think you need to go back and look a bit deeper into the functions of the app

I have the app. I see the function for setting my lockscreen picture as my springboard wallpaper, but not two separate wallpapers. I know that Cydia has Lockscreen wallpapers, but I think those would interfere with my springboard one.

    Make a new theme.
    Name lockscreen wallpaper to: LockBackground.png
    Name springboard wallpaper to: Wallpaper.png
    (case sensitive.)

umm i think you need to research more about winterboard before making a thread
you can have a different wallpaper for the lockscreen and the springboard
browse your theme folders with SSH

Okay so perhaps I overlooked the lockscreen packages in Cydia. But uh, say I DO do what you said above (yes, I realize I just said doo doo)... does this mean that the wallpapers that I rename will not be in my Photos app? And how would I reverse this? LockBackground.png can easily be reset, just set as wallpaper when I select a picture, but what about Wallpaper.png?

EDIT: Guys I SSH'ed into my iPod, renamed my different photos as you said, but no change. I even resprung it. Yes they match each letter's case, the .png is even lowercase. Help?

you can't just rename the pic you have in the pics app.

you need to paste/drop them into the theme folder via ssh to replace the currently running wallpaper and lockbackground of your current theme

    var/stash/Themes.XXXXX/Your Theme.theme/Wallpaper.png

    and...

    var/stash/Themes.XXXXX/Your Theme.theme/LockBackground.png
