    Legal for iPhones.

Not legal for iPads and iPods.

I thought it was just illegal for iPads, not iPods?

Isn't the legality of jailbreaking irrelevant if no one enforces it?

To be honest I still don't see why it is illegal to jailbreak iDevices other than iPhones.

Actually from what I heard if anyone enters the U.S. through the Airport with a jailbroken iPad, then it will be confiscated, however, I don't know if this is true or not.

But how would they know if someone had a jailbroken iPad? It's not like they go around and check peoples iPads. :p

There's our airport security, protecting the country from the most dangerous sources of terror and crime on Earth.

Because a jailbroken iPad could be a bomb.

That exactly what I thought when I heard about it, but again we are talking about Airport customs, so who knows, and I think they have the right to check every single thing you have

If it is illegal then it is illegal, it doesn't matter if it is a bomb or a jailbroken iPad
