Java Programming for the touch?

    is it possible to program in java for the touch as i have learnt java at uni

    This should be posted under the iPod touch Development section.

    If you're looking to program in Javascript, then yes, it is possible.

    You could use Jiggy IDE to program in Javascript.

    No, I think he meant Java, not JavaScript.

    And no, it's not possible at the moment because there's no Java Virtual Machine on the iPhone / touch. But I think Sun announced the development of a Java VM a while back, so maybe one day we can also program in Java!
