Duuhhhhh that's what a tethered jailbreak is, look at the tutorials and it will tell you that you have to repeat a certain step, don't ask me what it is, USE SEARCH.

Just look for a .bat that will only put your iPod into DFU mode, then enter a few of the commands, Check some of the stickies for more info

READ EVERYTHING PLEASE. =] (ALL 4 Steps.)

This is a step by step tutorial for Jailbreaking your iPod Touch 2nd Generation. This is still a TEATHERED jailbreak. Meaning everytime you need to restart your iPod, you must use the "boot.bat" file I provide.

FIRST! if you have tried already to jailbreak,
DELETE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE GOTTEN ALREADY and reboot your computer.

NEXT! Make sure you have the "jailbreak" folder that this README file is in, is on your desktop.
    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    You'll need:

    **libUSB installed on your computer.
just double-click the "libUSB_Setup.exe" file in the jalbreak folder.
and follow all the normal setup.

    **a jailbroken .ipsw
    - IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE, SKIP TO STEP 1.

    - if you dont have one you can make one yourself, heres how.
    -download Xpwn here.
    http://www.iphone-dev.org/xpwn/xpwn-windows-nightly.zip

Save in the "jailbreak" folder thats on your desktop.
Extract it. - you can delete the .zip if you want.
*Now move the "iPod2,1_2.2.1_5H11a.bundle" folder that is in the "jailbreak" folder to the "Firmware Bundles" folder of Xpwn.

    -Now Download a firmware 2.2.1.ipsw
    www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware

and save it in the "Xpwn-0.5.7-win32" folder.

    Double-click "createFW.bat"

Wait for it to create your jailbroken firmware.(takes awhile)
And now you have a jailbroken .ipsw
You'll be able to find it in the xPwn folder named "CustomFW.ipsw"

    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    NOW FOR THE INSTRUCTIONS~

    '''STEP1)
    double-click "jailbreak.bat"
When prompted, you will need to put in these commands.
    To do this quickly,
copy all of them at the same time,
then right-click in the command line and hit paste. =]

    mw 0x900001c 0x2200f300

    arm7_stop

    /exit

    '''STEP2)
    open iTunes.
    Hold Shift and click "restore"
    Find the "CustomFW.ipsw" and restore.
    When finished,
iTUNES WILL NOT RECOGNIZE YOUR IPOD.
    AND YOUR IPOD WONT RESPOND.
    THIS IS A GOOD THING.
THIS MEANS YOUR DOING IT CORRECTLY.
NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR IPOD.
    DONT FREAK OUT.
    Close iTunes and continue.

(If you happen to get an error while restoring to the PatchedFW.ipsw,
You'll need to run the "jailbreak.bat" file again before trying to restore again.)

    '''STEP3)
Double-click "boot.bat" found in the iRecovery directory.
When prompted, use the same commands as step 2.

****Everytime you need to restart just follow the "boot.bat"
You can delete Xpwn if you want.
But keep the "CustomFW.ipsw" in case you need to re-jailbreak.

    '''STEP4)
At this point the screen will appear as if its in recovery mode,
(screen with the itunes logo and USB connector)
To fix this, simply open iTunes and configure your iPod.
