So i went to jailbreak my itouch untill i got to step 2. I didnt select the right thing, and i continued with it till step 7 where u have to type in "go" and "/exit" for a second time, but the cmd prompt didnt work

At the end i synced it and it was all normal.

I retryed because nothing happened the first time, and this time i did it right. I got to the end of step 4 where you hold shift and click on restore, and when it was done restoring it said some error.

NOW, when i plug my itouch in, it says USB Device Not Recognized and it wont even turn on. Also it doesnt show up in itunes or anything

Try this if you have Windows:

    1. Download iTunes 7.5.
    2. Uninstall your current iTunes.
    3. Get any firmware you want (search google).
    4. Open iTunes 7.5.
    5. Plug in your iPod.
    6. Go to the iPod tab.
    7. Click "Restore".

    Tell me how it goes.

    This:

    1. Plug in your iPod.
    2. Go to the iPod tab.
    3. Hold down Shift + click "Restore".
    4. Choose that firmware . (The end of the firmware should be .ipsw.)
    5. Your iPod should seem like it's restoring, because it is except with that firmware.
