I just updated my iPod Touch to 4.0 and whenever I install something like SBSettings or Winterboard in Cydia it brings my iPod Touch into Safe Mode, and I cannot get out of it unless I remove Mobile Substrate in Cydia. I did a fresh restore on my iPod Touch and jailbroke it with Jailbreakme.com. Any help here to why my iPod won't exit out of Safe Mode unless I remove Mobile Substrate? Because of this I can't install anything really in Cydia

Yeah I don't think I saved them. So a lot of things aren't compatible with 4.0, like Winterboard?

Weird, never heard of this problem, try holding home and sleep until it turns off and turn it back on, it might fix it.

Hmm I downloaded Winterboard again and tried what you said iBricked and I still get the same thing. What is shsh?

    EDIT

I think I fixed it. I restored my iPod and than jailbroke with redsn0w. Seems to be working now.

So the solution is Jailbreak with a different program.

Yeah I also think it was something I downloaded. It was like Five Column SB which made it mess up again. Once I restored and didn't download that everything worked.
