    1) Hold Home and power for 10 seconds
    2) Release power, and keep holding home for 8 seconds.
    3) Check itunes to see if its there.
    4) Use a boot program to boot the ipod

Get the timing exact by using the windows clock (It must be close to exact)

Okay, I don't get why people say it has to be exact.....

And I don't get why people think all computers make that noise. Or why people think that using caps makes them right.

My computer makes a sound after the ipod is actually in DFU mode. Thats all.

It doesn't make a sound when I'm supposed to release the power button, like Ohfoohy's computer does.

Ok i had the same problem.. Here you go...

    Download quick pwn
open up quick pwn (your device will not be recognized)
then put it in dfu mode from there
    itunes will then recognize it
    re-jailbreak it

    download sbsettings from cydia
    download winterboard
    do not click reboot
scroll finger from left to right on the status bar in reboot screen
    click respring
    taa daa
