I have a jailbroken iPod touch 2G MC on 4.0 . This happens EVERY time I jailbreak my iPod; Not just this once . I've jailbroken 6 times in total . Anyways , Every time im jailbroken ill have my iPod charging & when its 100% done; it has that little charger in the battery ( Obviously) & I have the numeric battery percentage & it says 100% . Then the SECOND i unplug it , it automatically goes to 98% Or 95% . If im not mistaken , It doesnt take 1/1000000 of a millisecond to drain anywhere from 2-5% of your battery . How can i stop this ? I know the battery life of a jailbroken iPod isnt supposed to be AMAZING but this is simply ridiculous . I've rebooted , Resprung & obviously restored because this is my 7th time being jailbroken . Any ideas on how to fix this ?

Edit: & then the battery drains really quickly . Ill be listening to music & it'll go from 95% - 70% in less then half an hour of listening to music,

its a bug. it has nothing to do with being jailbroken.
battery drainage it caused by wifi staying on and multitasking and whatever you have installed (ex. ms addons)

Try charging it for about 1-2 hours more after it gets to 100%

My iPod was charging all night from 8pm ( the time i came up to my room to finish up my homework ) To 9am ( The time i came downstairs to get on the computer ) & is currently charging right now . So now its 100% battery . I unplug it; bam - 97% this time . Plug it back in - woah it went down to 95% .. ?

    Ive noticed issues too.
But there few and far between.
Im pretty sure its more of an inaccuracy than an error.
My ipod has dropped below 20% after extend use. I set it down, come back, and its gained 10%, That doesnt make sense. Obviously the battery didnt actually gain power just sitting there. If anybody knows how to make the battery percentage more accurate. I would like to know.

well, When I had my 2G MC the battery sucked ass. I installed SBSetttings and just turned Wi-Fi off every now and then. I also left it on Airplane Mode.
