Ok so I have two problems
First can someone confirm that if your model number starts with MC that means its 3g?

And also I jailbroke my ipod touch, everytime I try to turn it all the way off. When I turn it back on the page appears where it shows the ipod cord and the itunes symbol and I can't do anything. But when I run blackra1n again everything goes back to normal. So is there any way I can fully turn it off without having to jailbreak again each time?

Not to be mean, but couldn't have you posted in the FAQ instead of making a thread that could have been answered in the FAQ.

    MC is 3gen.

You have a 3 gen so it's tethered.

It's what your ipod is :
Once jailbroken, you must plug your ipod back in to use again.

In short, if you have an iTouch 3G, you have to jailbreak every time you turn it on, so you are probably better off not turning it off (this involves holding the power button, and then moving the slider).
