Just keep trying to put into recovery mode i always get that problem when i try to boot my device.

What i usually do is just plug my ipod into a different computer and that computer will recognize it. Then unplug it from that computer and put it into the computer you were trying to do it before. If it makes the noise that it usually makes when a USB device is plugged into it don't try to put it into DFU mode again just boot it

oneclickboot doesn't always work for me either, so just use cyw00ds jailbreak helper, the go from step 5 there, always works for me

You may not be holding the home button down long enough.

Also, iTunes is installed, right? Because the DFU drivers are included with iTunes.

sometimes when i try to boot up mine it does that
open up itunes, then unplug the ipod for about 1 minute
plug it back in and set it into dfu mode
    it might take some tries
