I'm not even sure if I'm even jailbroken, but I don't have cydia nor installer on my springboard and I even made sure I had cydia there (not sure about installer though). Any ideas?

Also, how do I know if I'm jailbroken?

Usually the only way I can tell is by having cydia, so my guess is you aren't jailbroken yet. My suggestion is to restore to stock firmware, then try to re jb. Pm me if that doesn't work

Yeah your not jailbroken, if you were jailbroken you would atleast have Cydia. You probablly restored with the original .ipsw instead of the cracked one.

go to settings>general>about and check your firmware.
If it's jailbroken it'll say eg. 2.2.1 (5h11a) or something

chances r ur not jailbroken, i would try finding a custom firmware with cydia only as these r easier to find and u can get installer later(even tho u wont use it)

Maybe you guys used a NOR-Only FW? Then you're jailbroken, but without cydia...
You have to use a Full FW like QuickFreedom creates it.
