I have a jailbroken iPod, (jailbroken with FinalSn0w) and I want to put the new 3.0 firmware on it, I already had it on before, but when I jailbroke it, it got erased. How do I put both on?

I'm just mad we iPod users have to pay for the firmware. I think it should be universal 3.0 firmware so we can all download it for free, not just iPhone users. But, that's just my 2 cents.

Apple has to charge us for updates because we don't pay a monthly contract like iPhone users do. And a universal firmware would never work, the iPhone firmware has to include phone-specific things.

+ there are different processors in each one. If they had the exact same processor, all they would really need are a couple more if-statements.
