I have a PSP that can do all that emulation but 10x better and all the good apps are already on the app store now so I am wondering are all you people just getting cracked apps or are you using winterboard. I just now went back to 2.2.1

i see your point. a lot of people just jailbreak for the reasons mentioned above, but some do it for the tweaks. SSH, themes, springboard tweaks.... a lot of cuztomization stuff really.

(also, psp sucks w/o cfw, so anyone out there on officcial fw, haxxx it nao!!)

I don't see why everyone thinks that the App Store is incredible.
Personally, I think most of the applications are crap.
I occasionally have one or two applications on my iPod, but most of the time I don't even bother syncing them.
I only sync three applications regularly; TwitterFon and Real Soccer 2009 and occasionally I'll be in the mood to play Topple, so I'll sync that too.
These are the only applications I've really been happy with though, everything else is never synced (like Monkey Ball) or deleted completely.

I don't really theme either (occasionally I'll use Tenuis), and I'll create a MobileSubstrate plugin for myself to play with every once in awhile, but the only thing I consistently use is Scrobble.

I'm not sure if saying this is against the rules, but most people that jailbreak have probably gotten at least 1 cracked app.

I only use it for themes and Gameboy emulator, I don't do cracked apps. If I really want an app I buy it from the App Store, eventhough some of them are kinda overpriced and not worth it, I mostly stick to the free apps.

I have jailbroken, but I have paid for all my apps. I restored one day after because battery life got a lot worse and it wasn't as snappy as non-jailbroken, so I won't jailbrake anymore. I like the themes a lot, though.
