ok, i have the 8gb, and i tried jailbreaking 1.1.4 with ZiPhone (clicked on the itouch button, not "do it all") but after having that Spammer AT error or whatever i did the "Fix NVRAM" and then force-restored it to 1.1.4 and stopped using ZiPhone from there.

i tried to restore the 1.1.4 (not jailbroken) to 1.1.1 but itunes keeps giving me an error everytime i try to restore to anything ("an unknown error occurred").

as of now, it wont let me do anything until i force-restore it back to 1.1.4 and then it still gives me that error.

so now the thing wont work at all or restore to ANY version. anyone know whats wrong or how to fix it??

    thanks

Lol it has nothing to do with ZiPhone. You need to be in DFU mode to downgrade to 1.1.1.... Yes this is different than restore mode. You can boot it into DFU mode from ZiPhone
