When you rebooted, was there an Installer app on it? If so, open it and install Octoprep.

I've restored my iTouch 3 times and it's happened each time. The only solution is to keep trying, and it eventually pops up and works.

    same problem

This happens to me too.. I've tried like 20 times now, and it doesnt work. Every once in a while i actually get to start downloading the programs, but then nothing happens for hours, and i have to restart the iPod. (The display reads "downloading programs" and there is a loading indicator, but it just goes on forever. The iPod is not stuck though because i can start and stop songs etc..). Is this just because everyone with a bran new iPod is doing the same thing i am? Is there an alternative way? Some other address than jailbreakme.com?

    Randy

    Pardon my english
