So I have a 3G 32GB iPod touch, iOS4 using Windows XP and I have been trying since the jailbreak came out but every time I try to "slide to jailbreak" it just closes safari. I have tried alternatives like using the iBooks method, which my computer wouldn't let me do even as being the owner, and I have tried clearing all safari cookies, cache, and history, but it still won't work.
Is there anything that could prevent my iPod from being jailbroken from the website?
If you need more information just ask ^.^

Then it won't work. Download the official release and restore.
It can't be any pre-release beta.

    iTunes.

I downloaded the official release from:
    http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

By official release I mean not a beta or developer version.

Shift+click restore and select the .ipsw you downloaded.
