    First, Welcome to ifans.com.
apple only blocked the website in their stores. They have no control to what you can access from your home network, so you could have jailbroken today just as easily.

    How old are you?
I kind of expect this behavior from spoiled kids.

Until you grow up and start working, you know why this is childish.

You just give them more work to do to the people at the apple store.
What are they going to do when a parent wants to know how to download "the game boy app"?. If they tell them how to jailbreak they might lose their jobs.

Its not about jailbraking, it's about being a prick at someone's workplace.

Yeah MyWi tethering will still work and i'm sure plenty of people have mirror websites to the PDF exploit, so it's still very possible to jailbreak in the apple store :D

i just got home from an apple store, all you have to do is disable the wifi and run off the 3G. Jailbreakme works fine from there.. I did a couple iphones and played around with them; the apple employees were all on it freaking out :D Win!

I wish where I lived there where random Iphones/Ipods on display so I can do this. It may be a prick/igorant/childish thing to do, but why not have a little fun screwing with people?

If you just do it constantly to no end, thats a douchy thing to do.

most apple stores around me are dead empty most the time unless it's people coming in cause their stuff is broke.

so gives the snobs some work to earn that paycheck.

did about 10-15 yesterday got 5 more today, went back to bestbuy and someone was there jailbreaking already lol it's caught on

I am ashamed of the immaturity shown by people who decide to go into a store and jailbreak iDevices. It's not funny. You could cost people their jobs. It's also a waste of time. There are plenty of more constructive uses of your time, for example you could undertake community service or work in a soup kitchen to feed the homeless.

How would you feel if you were the one working in the Apple store? Their job is what they make a living out of. Obviously it's not just people who pirate apps who give jailbreaking a bad name, people going to a store just to have a laugh, that makes me ashamed. It's such a cheap way to have fun. It's not funny, it's vandalism.
