iOS 4.0 jailbreakme causes safari to crash!

    This happens every time I slide to jailbreak, it goes to the purple clouds then kicks out to my os.... any suggestions? i've rebooted a dozen times, i've cleared cache, history etc..

    its just the servers. Lots of people are trying to do this right now so naturally they are prone to crash. Just keep trying, possibly wait a few days if you can, eventually you will get it.

    Are you sure, because I thought you just wouldn't get a download bar... This crashes safari out.

    I am running the gold master.. hmmm. so whats this mean, i'm screwed?

    That means you should update to 4.0.1.

    I can't run 4.0.1 on my ipod and it wont let me do the real 4.0
