    Hello, I've 3GS 4.0 jailbroken with jailbreakme.
After jb-ing and unlocking battery life has gone crazy. It only last for 3 hours usage. Also the device is becoming very hot after 10-15 using.
Does anyone else have such a problem? Any help?

Is JB and unlock all or have you gone nuts with cydia packages?

No, I only have these packages installed:
Bitesms, Callerid fix, iFile, installd, iphoneDelivery and ultrasn0w.

    Are you overclocked?
The only thing I can recomend would be to restore and rejailbreak.

No, on the contrary, I've disabled 3G, Wifi & Turned down brightness...
I was thinking about that but I don't have wifi here.

Wasn't there an update to ultrasnow since it decreased battery life or something? Try updating then see if its still bad.

    Yes, i've updated but nothing.
I only noticed one strange thing: after i updated battery showed 30% but before that it was 80%. But after respring it showed 80 again.

Side effect probably. the 30% thing shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, I'm not worried about that. The problem is overheating and 3 hour battery life

if the battery level is weird, drain it to zero. thats when the ipod automatically shuts down at about two percent, and you see the flashing red battery... that will calibrate the meter. then top-charge it again
