    I have a iPod touch 8g 1.1.5. What would be the best and safest way to jailbreak it without messing up iPod or computer?

    does anyone know how to jailbreak. Please help would really like to get some apps.

    do u want to update to 3.1.2 coz i suggest very harshly u upgrade
    then use blackra1n

    what all does 3.1.2 do. And would I have to update iTunes two?

    3.1.2 us new features list can be foud on apple.com and have itunes at least on ver 9.0

    If your still on 1.1.5 then you really should update!!!

    3.1.2 Features list here.
    You will need to download the latest version of iTunes to upgrade.
    Plug in your iPod, then click "check for update". 3.1.2 will cost you $4.99.

    Once all that is done, download Blackra1n, plug your iPod in, launch the application and click "Make it Ra1n". You do not need to restore before running Blackra1n.

    To take the jailbreak off, restore the iPod through iTunes.

    yeah upgrade to 3.1.2 then use blackra1n thats what I did.
