    Try running the program as an admin (Right click on QuickFreedom and select Run as Administrator).

    This is the same problem I had, and running it as an admin fixed it for me. I'm on the Windows 7 RC1, but let me guess, you are on Vista?

    ok new problem, i put it in DFU mode and itunes says its in recovery mode but quickfreedom won't detect the ipod and just says its not connected

    is quickfreedom out of date?

    Use redsn0w, tutorials on youtube. It's very simple and practially does it for you.

    I just did it and now have cydia (I use redsn0w) but how do I get free games (like monopoly) or add themes?

    but you can just search for a theme in cydia, try picnic!

    Although to use themes you need to get Winterboard off of cydia too.

    how do I get a complete theme? not just download each bit by bit?
