I am just about to jailbreak. But I would like to know before if :

    1- It's absolutely reversible

2- There is any chances to brick my iPod

3- If something goes wrong with it, could I just restore and bring it back to Costco?

    1-Yes
    2- No
    3- Yes

Jailbreaking is probably about 99% safe, and I think the only time you can mess something up, Is if you do something wrong. Even then you can restore, and you iPod will be fine. Welcome to the Jailbreak Community! Don't worry!

    1. Yes
    2. You cannot brick a iPod
    3. Sure. Or even Apple.

It's 100% safe. Its the stuff you install which can lead to bad things.

I'm not going to post the answer; it already has been twice.

Jailbreaking is safe if you know what you're installing.

Installing anything that you see in Cydia will inevitably lead to your iPod having to be restored.
Make sure whatever you want is compatible with the firmware you're on.

Just be mindful of what you're doing.

If anything were to go wrong, you can put your device into DFU Mode and Restore it.
Nobody will ever know you did anything to it.

Jailbreaking has always been put across wrong.

NO it doesnt brick your iPod. In fact, it is just another App store basicly. You only brick it if you act like an excited 10 year old, download terminal and somehow wipe your whole ipod

    1. Yes, Simply restore & it's back to unjailbroken mode !

    2. Not at all

    3. Yes, But it has to have something wrong with it like the screen is broken . Or maybe you have a firmware problem & they'll just do a clean restore & fix it & then give it back to you . It can almost ALWAYS be fixed .

I've had 3 iPods, never once had to return one nor did I lose one due to jailbreaking. Its safe, I've always jailbroke, made tons of mistakes while jailbreaking too, everything just lead to a restore (no brick)
