Okay, so I looked at all of the other threads about Jailbreaking and I couldn't find this information clearly. Note that I have a 2nd generation and so I'm waiting for the Jailbreak to be released.
    Questions

    1. What exactly is jailbreaking and what are some of the cool features?

    2. Does it void the Apple warranty or Best Buy replacement plan?

    3. Can jailbreaking be reversed?

    4. Can it cause your purchased apps to be unusable?

    5. Is it even possible to brick your iPod touch by attempting to Jailbreak it?

    6. Is the jailbreak any different or does it require a different jailbreak hack to jailbreak different sized iPods (i.e. 8GB, 16, 32 etc.), I only ask because I once saw someone talk about the jailbreak for 8 and 16GB 2nd gen iPods being released some time soon.

    7. Does jailbreaking disable certain/any features of the iPod?

That's all the questions. Thanks for looking at them

Jailbreaking is basically hacking. You can have themes, emulators and apps that aren't allowed on the App Store

Yes, but you can always restore to erase all evidence of a jailbreak.

    Yes, by restoring.
It can cause the iPod to lag and have some minor problems, but won't cause purchased apps to become unusable.

Unless you take your USB cable out when jailbreaking, no.

You can jailbreak any 1st gen iPod touch, size does not matter.

Nope, you keep all your stuff

    Just a little pointer:

It's possible to brick your iPod even when it's not jailbroken.

Messing around with a jailbroken iPod is a bad idea since some security features meant to protect the iPod have to be removed for the jailbreak to work and allow you to run unsigned code on your iPod.
