First of all, is jailbreaking a 2g harmful in any way, shape or form?

Also, what are some positive things about it concerning it's features?

Lastly, what's so special about it?

Haha I sound like an ubr n00b."""

Not in shape or form. It can however screw up your device... But that takes a lot of work and playing around in SSH, deleting important files. Believe me, If I can do it... You can too.

Your able to download 3rd party applications. You see, Apple has "rules" about the applications allowed for the Appstore. With a jailbreak, you can download applications that allow you to Theme, Edit the settings, download many games, and basically break your iPod out of Jail

Read the text above. You are able to use the applications on the Appstore and your able to download other ones that aren't allowed on it. Believe me, its amazing and your device is no longer just a music player...

Sadly though, The iPod 2G is

NOT ABLE TO BE JAILBROKEN YET!

Welcome to iPod Touch Fans. Just remember to use the Search Engine and follow the Rules
