Ok, before i ask my question, let me state out i know there is not one available for the iPod Touch 2g yet. Ok, let's go.

For Future Referance, when the Jailbreak actually comes out, I've heard that it makes your iPod "Unstable".
    What does this exactly mean?

I just need replys, so i can think about if i actually want to Jailbreak my iPod when it actually comes out.

Sorry, I'm an iPod Newb. I just got mine on Christmas

It doesn't really make it unstable, some of the apps you can get are unstable and if you download a mod for example that might make it a bit more unstable but really all it does is unlock the door to more apps, themes and mods.

The 2G jailbreak might make it unstable but i doubt it. The pros will tell u in more detail

Some say it does, Some say it doesn't void your warranty... Just restore the touch and all traces of JB will be gone, Apple will never know lol.

It does void you warranty, but since the Jailbreak is a Software modification, once you restore your iPod to factory settings, Apple wont know it was ever there.

I think he means vulnerable to malware with 'unstable'. I guess it's possible to make apps that cause more bad than good?

well, thats y u read reviews. if reviews are disabled, dont download it. anyways, jailbreaking really cant hurt your ipod... much. unless u actually mess with important files, but thats not something a sane person does, lol. if it breaks or something, u can always restore it to normal.
