Jailbreaking on itunes 8.2.1

    I want to know is it ok to jailbreak with itunes 8.2.1 and i am using this vid on youtube to jailbreak my 3.0 ipod touch 2nd gen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2OatDJ8nmwis it ok to use .
    I am very scared of jailbreaking and I want to make sure everything is perfect so I dont mess up (ive had bad experiences with jailbreaking in the past)
    so please say if what I am doing will work I am using redsn0w 0.7 and ive got ipsw file if im doing anything wrong please tell me.

    all you do it download the latest redsn0w then run it, and yes it will work with 8.2.1

    and make sure your ipod is already running firmware 3.0

    you say to download the latest version of redsn0w which is 0.7.2. But ive just got 0.7 will that be ok

    Use .8. Latest updated one=better (in most cases).

    ok I will ge .8 now while its downloading is there any way I can mess up my ipod because if there is im not doing it

    And should I install icy

    If it screws up your iPod you can always DFU and restore.

    I'm no jailbreaking expert, but Icy sucks IMHO.
