Jailbreaking iTouch 3G

    Should I do it? One last thing, will I be able to permanently remove the files left on the jailbreak? What I mean is: No history of jailbroken apps, downloaded, or such. I will make a backup of my ipod touch first.

    Yes, jailbreak. It's easy. You have nothing to lose by Jailbreaking, but a hell of a lot to gain

    Also, a DFU restore will completely remove ALL traces of the jailbreak. Even Apple won't be able to tell it was there. Just make sure you set the iPod up as a new device in iTunes after the restore (ie. don't "restore from backup").

    Go to www.spiritjb.com, download the program, run it, and away you go!

    Thanks! I knew about spirit already... but it's ok. Thanks for the help! Now all I have to wait for now is OS 4.0, then I'm gonna give up JBing.
