You absolutely, positively do not have to hide a jailbroken Touch or iPhone. Gimme a break. No one's going to take your device. That whole Stephen story, which I still don't believe, would only have happened if some maverick employee of an Apple reseller (because there are NO Apple Stores in Ireland) decided he wanted to steal some kids iPod and thought he'd be too stupid to say anything about it.

You're only getting booted off of a forum or site for linking to illegal firmwares. And you can't blame 'em. Why would anyone risk the potential legal ramifications just so a bunch of people online can share pirated stuff?

So anyway, I just wanted to comment on the whole Apple taking your device thing. It ain't gonna happen...

    Thanks.

I was just wondering: Why is it unexpected?

If it was illegal, don't you think every program, theme,or customization made for a computer by someone else than microsoft\apple would be illegal ?

No one got theirs taken away, they are full of sh*t. And if they did, then they should speak to a manager, apple employees aren't stupid, they know they can't take it. And we shouldn't be so stupid to believe the what, one guy that says they took it?

I dont think it is or should be illegal, yet... When SDK app store comes out it should be because your Getting free applications that apple can provide for you. Unless they dont provide themes and stuff and installer just has themes. Then that should be ok. But if you think about it itd be like bootleg movies. Because your getting free apps that you are suppose to pay for. But right now its ok. Unless you didn't buy the January app pack but you got it from installer.

Well, I just don't expect much from the community because I don't want to be disappointed (and because most of the users are just stupid people who make posts like "wut does jailbreak meen hwo u do it").
