Hi everyone, I'm dejko I'm new here since now.
I bought an Ipod Touch like 2-3 months ago. I had jailbroken the Ipod Touch but itunes asked to restore because it didn't knew the application. So I did. After a week my Ipod wasn't able to recover the battery. I recharged it and without using it, its empty in 1hour again. So I returned my Ipod and I received a new one.

Is it safe instead of the garanty of the ipod touch ?

So I have a few questions.
    1. Can it be that the jailbreak did this ?
    2. Is jailbreaking 100% safe for the Ipod ?
    3. When you have jailbroken your Ipod, and there something wrong after few months. Apple can see that you did the jailbreak ? so you can't receive a new Ipod or no reparation ?

    Thanks.

After my first ipod was totally broken I want to be sure that jailbreaking is 100% safe before I do it again.

    1) I don't think it was the jailbreak that did it. It was probably a faulty device.

    2) Jailbreaking is 100% safe, you can always restore it.

    3) I jailbroke mines a few weeks ago and it's been fine ever since and Apple won't know you jailbroke your device once you restore it.

    1) There was probably a malfunction. Just restore/reboot?
    2) As the above poster said, Jailbreaking IS safe.
    3) I Jailbroke mine quite recently and nothing is wrong. Apple can't really detect that you jailbroke it...or at least that's what I think.

Ok i just tried to jailbreak, but my ipod won't start up. It shows the "connect to itunes" screen. I've heared to run blackrain again to reboot the ipod, but it doesn't help.
Itunes asks whole to time to restore it

when itunes tells you to restore, don't listen to it. Try it again.
