Not sure if this is the right forum to post this request.

Have an 2G ipod touch with 16GB and running 3.1.2 firmware.
Interested in jailbreaking and tried it out a month ago with all sorts of problems (app corruption etc).

Just a few questions related to jailbreaking:
    1) I don't have any wifi or internet connectivity.
Do I have to download Cydia app or any other app on the ipod touch since I don't have wifi? Is it worth the effort of jailbreaking?

    2) Can I sync itunes to the ipod touch after I have jailbroken it?
The last time I did it, apps got corrupted and itunes won't sync to it, so it was getting more and more messed up. In the end, I did a restore from itunes and started from scratch again.

    3) How can I load apps onto a jailbroken ipod touch without using wifi or internet connectivity?
Is it possible to load it through - say - DiskAid?

Thanks in advance for answering these noobie questions

    1) There is no app that will give you wifi if you don't have a wireless router (if that's what you mean)
It depends, you should look at the thread at the pros and cons of jailbreaking and see if you want to. I personally think its worth it.

    2) Yes you can sync with itunes.

    3) By downloading them on itunes and syncing your ipod.
