Jailbreaking illegal?

    so anyone out there know if its illegal? what are they doin about it? and what is it about jailbreaking that has them in an uproar¿ any posts will help thanks

    p.s what about if your ipod is jailbroken and has apps on it what do you think will happen?

    Dude, it's not illegal at all...

    It MIGHT be a little bit illegal to put the iPhone applications on your iPod AFTER you jailbreak but jailbreaking itself and installing programs off installer.app is in NO WAY illegal.

    Yeah, some apps like iPhone apps and ROMs you don't already own are illegal. But everything else is legal since they are developers making these programs from scratch and install for free.
