Jailbreaking from normal iPod? (un-jailbroken)

    Which guide or GUI should i use to do an untethered jailbreak on my normal not jailbroken iPod touch?

    yea, quickfreedom, redtool doesnt get rid of ur files, but thats only if you're already jailbroken

    i put it into DFU mode and click "start pre-jailbreak" but it says "please enter dfu mode" or something like that, it doesnt recognize im in DFU how do i fix???

    If you are in DFU, iTunes will give you a popup saying you are in recovery mode.

    yea itunes did pop that up, but quickfreedom will not recognize that i have gone into DFU therefore it wont allow me to do the pre-jailbreak

    Try a different tool like redTool or just send the prejailbreak yourself if you are tech-savvy

    so wait i can use a different tool to send the pre-jailbreak? and than just click next to continue through quickfreedom???
