    Hello everyone im also new here, How do you jailbreak a iPod 2g 8gig in out the box 3.1 firmware, can it also be untethered so i dont have to connect to a computer all the time how would i do this because i am a newbie, and also i have no way to connect to iTunes because i live in africa... Thanks :)

    want to tether my new iTouch to my laptop

    I use a USB modem on my laptop to access the internet. Is there a way to tether my 3G iTouch to my laptop so I can get internet even when I don't have access to a wireless signal? Thanks

    Good too see that the first post asking that ppl not ask questions here was read by everyone.

    Anyway I am new around here and I am not asking any questions. I haven't been around long and even I know most of the questions i see in this thread can be answered with a little research. Look around before you ask...you'll likely find what you need.

    Click the forums link located near the top of the page, Or just Click Here. Then, click the section you have a question about

    ie. You have a question about the iPod Touch 3.1 Firmware. You will post your question in that forum.

    Once your in the section, just simply click the "New Thread" button. After that, post away and wait for replies.

    dude i updated my jail broken itouch to 3.1.2. and then restored it.for some reason the blackrain icon doen't come up .please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    If you jailbroken then restored, you'll have to rejailbreak using blackra1n.
