    Hi,
I'm considering jailbreaking my iPod and was wondering if there are any known problems that i could have in the future... will I still be able to sync, restore, update my ipod?

Yes you´re able to Sync and Restore it. You won´t be able to update tho, because that will brick your jailbreak and you´re iPod. SO you must wait for a jailbreak for the new update!

Updating a jailbroken iPod touch won't brick it. It was only the iPhone users that unlocked it that got their iPhone bricked.

If you update your jailbroken iPod then it should just update normally, but all your applications and stuff will be gone - the iPod is back in jail.

Only disadantage is that you always need to wait for new jailbreak methods when updates come out
