Ok. Now I know you can only JB the 1st Gen.

What I am wondering is, what is OFFICIALLY the most stable or best source.

I hear ZiPhone fcks it up. I hear jailbreakme doesn't work well.

The only one I know now is QuickPwn.

If I understood right, there is absolutely no risk to JB'ing as long as you force restore right? There isn't anything that can stop a force restore.

Also I keep hearing people have Jailbroken their iPods/iPhones multiple times. Why is that?

On the thing about the Jailbreaking options, I'd like to hear what you think or
have heard about the different places ex: jailbreakme, quickpwn etc.

    For 1.1.1, Jailbreakme
For 1.1.2, Jailbreakme + Conceited Software Jailbreak.
    For 1.1.3, iLiberty+
    For 1.1.4, iLiberty+
    For 1.1.5, ZiPhone
    For 2.0, Winpwn/Pwnage
    For 2.0.1, Winpwn/Pwnage
    For 2.0.2, Winpwn/Pwnage
    For 2.1, Quickpwn.

All are stable but ZiPhone. There is no risk to jailbreaking an iPod at all.
