    okay, so.

I was trying to help my friend Jailbreak his iPod Touch running on 1.1.2 using ZiPhone for windows.

he did this, but he unplugged it halfway through, cus there was an error or something,
    anyway,

now hes stuck with static white writing against a black background.
plugging it in does notihng. hes turned it off by pressing Sleep and wake button together, but that only turns it off for a few seconds.

hes also tried pressing the home button while plugging it into his PC. this had no effect either.

To make things worse around 600 of songs on his iPod were from an old PC. only 200 from his new one (200 on his current version of iTunes)
so will he loose those 600 songs?

if he gets it into restore mode, will he be able to restore his iPod (not set it up as a new one) and get ALL his songs back? or not?

no way to brick buddy... hold power and home buttons until your ipod shuts off. then keep holding the home button after it shuts off. it will reboot in recovery. if that doesnt work, it should be picked up by the comp anyways

If you get into The Restore Mode
You can Restore It from iTunes,
Then once its Restored Click Revert to the Backup One
    Or Whatever.

    Turn The iPod Off.
Then Turn it On While Holding the Home Button
And Dont Release The Home Button

Hopefuly It will Get into Restore Mode

Connect to iPhuc and type in these commands...
    cmd fsboot

once you get it in restore mode, and it should bump it out.

    What you did wrong!
    1. ZiPhone doesn't jailbreak 1.1.2. Don't try it again.
    2. Don't unplug something when it's doing something. That can brick iPods in certain methods like Pwnage.
