    Hello,

I just joined the site and I am buying an iPod Touch in the near future. I've seen a whole bunch of videos using iJailbreak and everything like that and I guess my question is, if I do go ahead and jailbreak my iPod, will I be throwing away my warranty? If I ever needed to send my iPod back would they still replace it if it was under my warranty and I restored the iPod before sending it so maybe they wouldn't know about the jailbreak?

This has been discussed many, many, many times. Searching would do you good here. Simply typing warranty into the search up there ^ would give you a lot of reading from people who got here before you.

In a nutshell, send it back jailbroken and you are out a valid warranty. Restore it and you're good.
