My iphone is unlocked and jailbroken on v1.14 and i would like to have it on v2.2 jailbroken??

    Is this possible??

Would i have to update it through itunes and then jailbreak and unlock it??

Does anyone know the steps that i would take to update and unlock it onto v2.2?

    Please help....

RESTORE, hit Update on iTunes, run Quickpwn, done

After using quickpwn, will it still be on all networks?

You hit the RESTORE button on iTunes. You basically unlock it like you did before. What network on you on?

I brought it already unlocked. Im on Orange now, but it was originally on O2 coz they only do iphones. Btw, im in the UK.

Would i have to put an O2 sim into it before i do anything or can i do it with the orange sim??

Does any1 know if you have to have an O2 sim in the phone or any sim when updating and jailbreak/unlocking the iphone?

This is my last question and then i will know everything to do it.

can anyone who has done this clarify - I am jailbroken 1.1.4, having downgraded from 2.1 on a 1st gen 8 GB phone. baseband was also downgraded and the only way I could get it jailbroken was ziphone. Is there any complication restoring the 2.x firmware and jailbreaking it accordingly if I choose to upgrade?

I would just update the phone to the 2.2 Firmware and use the qucikpwn method of jailbreaking and unlocking(if needed). There is currently no advantage to using older versions of the firmware.
