jailbreaking an ipod touch

    from what i have heard jailbreaking is awesome
    let you do what ever you want,free apps,more controol...etc
    but im not quite sure if i should do it
    i guess my main concern is ,is the rumors true does jailbreaking really use up alot of battery? if so how much more?

    You shouldn't jailbreak if you plan to use it for that.

    yeah if your talking about piracy, thats illegal and we dont talka bout that on the forums. as for your other questions, no it will not run up your battery unless something goes wrong in the jailbreak process, and if so then you jsut resotre and rejailbreak. 3rd party free apps from the itunes app store are illegal. 3rd party apps from cydia are not, and while there are some games, its mostly for customization and/or extra features.

    how come alot of previous gen touch user report battery drops faster?

    Jailbreaking is legal yet those two words are not. Jailbreak can use 3rd party apps and tweaks which apple does not allow. You also can haz root access which is very nice. No piracy to be discussed on this forum, read the rules
