ok, i have a jailbroken 8gb touch running 1.1.1 firmware, jailbroken with jailbreakme.com
and it has lots of 3rd party apps on it righht now. i want to upgrade to a jailbroken 1.1.3, so i can have wiggly apps, plus just for the fact of having a later FW

    my questions are:
    1. is it worth upgrading?
    2. should i use ijailbreak (the one in installer) or restore to 1.1.3 then ziphone?
    3. will both of these methods work, and give me full/same functionallity?
    4. anyone had any errors or bugs with either of these methods?

    thanks.

Why not use pwnage? Much more convenient.Firmwares and all this. Just restore with iTunes. The Windows version is coming out in a few days and Mac version is already available. http://iphone-dev.org is where you can get it/check for updates. Look here for more info. Here for WinPwn. Look through those forums for more info. gl

wow, ur still with 1.1.3? ok.
well my first time was using the iBrikr, until there was no soft upgrade in installer.
i am currently on 1.1.4 and if i was to jailbreak 1.1.3, i would use the Official 1.1.3 or the iPodtouchMasters jailbreak, (more of Official 1.1.3 because i dont want to install the fixes for summerboard).
I wouldn't want to use the ZiPhone because it gives you the ZiPhone Blog icon (if i am not mistaken)

What I would do is restore to 1.1.4 and backup so all ur info is saved but apps are gone. then use iLiberty+ to jialbreak. very easy method u can find iLiberty at modmyifone.com.
plus it is the fastest method. takes only a few minutes.

so, iLiberty will do the entire process... going from jailbroken 1.1.1 to 1.1.3?
