    Hello my friends.
    I have just bought a ipod touch 3g, and i want to now when there comes a unthered jailbreak for it.

    When the people developing it release it. We are not the developers here, so of course we really don't know.

    There is like a million threads asking this. No one knows. A tethered jailbreak isn't a big deal.

    Why do you need to turn your iPod off anyway?

    2G owners had to wait forever just to get the tethered.tethered isent that bad any way i hardly ever turn my ipod off just sleep. saves power.I dont see untethered comming to soon.

    ^ This, it's not that much of hassle. Usually, chargers would be around 20-30 USD. =P

    I wish people would search. This was asked a million times, and answered a million and ten times.
    Why is a tethered bad?

    Why would you turn it off? locking it doesn't take much power at all.

    you can have an ipod locked for a long time even with a low battery(like 10%). turning it off completely would just waste that small amount of battery left.
    and yeah im pretty tired of these threads, too.
