Jailbreak without buttons?

    Hi,

    I've had a jailbroken iPod Touch 4G 5.1 tethered, but last week I've lost my jailbreak(the iPod was shut down and then suddenly the jailbreak disappeared, don't know why). But so now I want to jailbreak it again, but I can't because my home button doesn't work anymore. So my question to you if there is a way to jailbreak without use of any buttons?

    Grateful for any useful comment or advice.

    The reason the jailbreak disappeared is because it was a tethered jailbreak. You can jailbreak without button via a corrupted LLB + sn0wbreeze, but it will be a tethered jailbreak again, which is no good with broken buttons. You should check and see if you have SHSH blobs for 5.0.1. Open TinyUmbrella, click on your device in the left, click "Save SHSHs", and tell us what it says in the white box.

    But for me, it's okay with a tethered jailbreak - it was an accident that the jailbreak disappeared, I had this tethered jailbreak for a very long time and it worked very well so if I can get a tethered jailbreak it would be worth gold.
