I just did my iPhone with ZiPhone 2.6b running 1.1.4 firmware. My phone was fully loaded with contacts, music, photos, etc and I did the JB with no problems and with no restore prior. There were no issues with iTunes or any apps. Just did the normal post-jailbreak installs and all is well. I would imagine it would do just the same on the iPod.

What firmware were the touch's at when you did the update to 1.1.4? My touch is JB & 1.1.1 and I really don't want to lose my stuff. I was going to update to 1.1.4 and then ziphone. This seems logical, but just making sure... if you've been there, then I'm going for it.

    TIA

I was on 1.1.4 when I did the JB but not with a fresh restore.

When you jb 1.1.4 with ZiPhone 2.6b without a fresh restore (music/photos etc. still on iPot) do you lose them?

    edit:
also if i fix the NVRAM, will that affect/delete my music/apps/photos on the ipod already?

I did not fix NVRAM, and I DID NOT restore my iPod or iPhone. All music, photos, contacts, etc were all left alone and were still in there after the jailbreak.
