iOS 4.1 Jailbreak with Mac

    Can't use limera1n with mac osx right? what do i use then

    PS: need to jb iphone 4 running 4.1

    Nope, you can either partition your HDD and install a windows os, OR buy Parallels 6 legally and install windows through that (which is what I'm doing)

    or use virtual box, which is free, and you cant go wrong with free stuff

    Just make sure you have a windows 7 install disc cuz you'll be needing that also

    I used an XP VM and it didn't work. i'll try Windows 7.

    Word on the chronic-dev blog is that vm's won't work...Don't know why...

    make sure that if you use virtualbox to set usb at each mode the ipod/iphone is like DFU and restore in the VM windows under devices menu ;-)

    LOL Yesterday was probably the 1st time i booted into my boot camp partition since I installed it...then again...things like this are WHY I installed windows in boot camp.
